With regard to health, the calendar of the village of Montgomery, NY is packed full of special events in the name of health and wellbeing.  Beginning November 2010 to July 2011, the days and the seasons will be great times for celebrating health and working for your health.  In January of this year, Orange County turns itself into the Healthy Orange ringing in the New Year that’s smoke free and a year of moving more.  If you’re having a hard time quitting smoking, you just might accomplish that goal in the village of Montgomery.  As for moving more, it’s the month dedicated to doing a little bit of walking, exercising, taking the stairs instead of the elevator and so on.

As for sports, January 22, Saturday will be the final registration for the Montgomery Little League.  If your little tyke wants to be part of the team, come on down to the Recreation Center, Veteran’s Park, Bachelor Street at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The fees will be as follows, $130 for the first child and registration for any additional child will be $100.
